How many types of vertical mills are there?

Compared with horizontal mills, vertical mills save more space and are popular in the industry. However, there are many kinds of vertical mills on the market, so many small partners are buying vertical mills. I was dazzled when I was in the powder machine.

So today I will introduce to you, several vertical mills commonly used in the market at present.

Commonly used vertical mill introduction

1. Superfine vertical mill

The ultra-fine vertical mill is suitable for ultra-fine grinding of more than 100 kinds of materials such as non-flammable and explosive, non-metallic minerals, such as limestone. The hardness of the processed materials should be below grade 7, and the humidity should not exceed 6%. One-time output The particle size of the finished product is between 0.038mm-0.02mm, and the smallest can reach 0.005mm.

2. Vertical roller mill

Vertical roller mills are mainly engaged in three major fields of coal powder, slag and non-metallic ore. One machine is multi-purpose, it can be used for grinding, grading, crushing, drying, etc. It is not only suitable for grinding raw materials and clinker, but also can be used as a pre-grinding follow-up mill to greatly increase the output.

When the moisture content of the finished product is required to be lower than that of the raw material, the hot air can be fed directly, which has a strong drying capacity and can save a dryer.

3. Raymond mill

Raymond mill is suitable for the processing of more than 280 kinds of non-flammable, non-food materials. The hardness of the processed materials should not exceed 9.3, and the humidity should be below 6%. A little higher is okay, but not more than 10. %, if the water content is too high, if the output is small, dry it naturally, if the output is large, you need to add a dryer. The particle size of the finished product is between 0.125-0.044mm, which can be adjusted arbitrarily according to requirements; the production capacity is about 1-120t/h.

Raymond mills can be divided into 3R, 4R, 5R and other models according to the number of grinding rollers. R indicates the number of grinding rollers. Generally, ordinary Raymond mills below 93 (Raymond 62, high-strength 66-92) have 3 rollers. , 93 and above (high strength 93, 97) are 3 or 4 rollers; 4119 is 5 rollers, 4525 is 4, 5, 6 rollers.

If you need a vertical mill with less noise pollution, you can choose a vertical roller mill;

If you need to grind the finished product to be coarse, and the work site is small and the investment budget is small, you can choose Raymond mill;

If you want to complete the process in one step without setting up a dryer, you can choose a vertical roller mill or an ultra-fine vertical mill, both of which have their own drying system.

If you need less output, you can choose Raymond mill; otherwise, you can choose the other two.
